Popular destinations in the Palatinate Forest are not only the numerous, impressive ruins of castles – the famous Hambach Castle is only a 25 minute walk away. Thanks to many managed huts, you can also get by on long hikes with light luggage. - Palatine high-altitude trail: approx. 114 km from Winnweiler to Wolfstein
- Hiking trail Deutsche Weinstraße (theme hiking trail): approx. 96 km (59,65 US-Miles )from Bockenheim to Wissembourg.
