Wine village Hambach
The wine-growing village of Hambach is surrounded by vineyards and chestnut forests. It was first mentioned in 865 as Hageanbach. Hambach became known nationwide through the Hambach Festival in 1832.In Hambach there are many old romantic wineries and narrow streets with many fountains, which can be explored every Thursday from April to October through a village tour.
The sights in Hambach, such as the Hambach Castle, the baroque St. James Church and the old town hall with its historic Schlossgasse, invite you to a leisurely hike through beautiful viewpoints and entertained hiking huts. It is also worth taking a bike ride along the German wine route between vineyards and idyllic wine villages.
Hambach offers you a heated swimming pool, playgrounds, tennis courts, bus stops, general doctors, dentists, pharmacy etc.

The "Green Meadow" of Neustadt can be reached in just 5 minutes by car. There are again many shopping opportunities here.
